Questions
How much does a custom memorial piece cost?
Most commissions fall between $85 and $350 depending on the size and type of piece. We confirm the price with you before any work starts, and nothing is charged when you send this enquiry.
How much hair or ash do you need?
A small snippet of mane or tail hair, about the thickness of a pencil, is plenty. For ash-glazed work we need roughly a teaspoon. Any remainder is always returned to you with the finished piece.
How long does a commission take?
Typically four to six weeks from the day your hair or ashes reach us, plus posting time. We will give you a clearer estimate when we reply.
Can you work with hair from a person?
Yes. We make memorial pieces for people as often as for animals, and handle every commission with the same care.
